Understanding

The natural progression of enlightenment.

Enlightenment starts with a basic understanding of science.

We are made of the stuff of the universe.

All life evolved from a common  ancestor.

Most existing species have survived because their DNA has been able to change and adapt over time.

Most of these changes in the DNA were not beneficial and were discarded but the ones that were beneficial were selected for helped the species survive.

It also helped to have a variation in the DNA which helped some of the members of a species survive rapid changes in their environment.

There is no signification difference between us and other animals.

Emotions have helped animals survive.

Many other species have the same emotions as hominids.

There are a finite number of types of emotions.

All the variations of our species have been necessarily for us to have survived to this point.

Existence and self awareness are very special for each one of use yet that existence is not unique.

We are not unique.

There are other life forms that are our doppelganger.

When we internalize this we start to see others as ourselves.
