Meditation
Meditation
Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing their mind on a particular object, thought or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.
One technique for meditation is sitting in a comfortable place, focusing on your breath as you breath in and as you breath out.
The goal is to be in the moment detached from the past and future.
You live in each moment and when a choice is required it is made.
If you searching for a reward while you are meditating it will impede your progress.
As we progress with our meditation and mindful practice we let go of our egocentric view of ourselves and experience the joy of existence.
When we fully embrace mindfulness it becomes how we live and is reflected in our poise, grace and self-confidence.
As you accept that good and evil are not metaphysical concepts you will experience the world without judgment.
When you are listing to someone, watch and listen without judgment and allow yourself to process the information naturally as if there is an explanation even if you can't see it in the current moment.
Happiness and joy follows as we let go of our ego and learn to freely express ourselves without ulterior motives.
Our goal is to see reality as clearly as we can and led an authentic life.
It is better to express how you feel without any particular attachment or intention.
If you are trying to obtain enlightenment you are being driven by your ego which tends to keep you in a delusional state.
Our effort is always now, it is not possible to do something in the past or the future, now is the only moment we exist in.
We have to make our effort in this moment. This is the most important thing in our practice.
We exist in perfect existence even though it may appear to be imperfect existence.
Evolution and chance have brought us here. Once the perfection of the world is embraced judgment ceases and what is left is choice and activity.
Everything changes.
Accepting transiency prepares you to experience calmness in activity and activity in calmness.
Moment after moment everything is created anew. This is the true joy of life. We are part of the natural world, part of the consciousness of the world, along with everything else.
When we realize that everything we see is part of nothingness we have no attachment to any existence.
It is not after we understand the truth that we attain enlightenment. To realize the truth is to live – to exist here and now.
Intellectual understanding can proceed enlightenment. Enlightenment is lived as a way of life.
Enlightenment will appear as something special which comes out of your meditation and mindfulness. Then you see it as nothing special and exist here and now.
One of the goals of mediation is to let go of our illusions and delusions so as to see the world more clearly.
