Misery is dualism.
Try as you may the ego fights to the death for it's existence.
Non-dualism leads to nothingness and nothingness is the death of the ego.
Educate yourself to the advances in science. Practice meditation and try and experience consciousness without the blinding light of the ego.
Watch yourself experience enlightenment after enlightenment.
Then non-dualistic consciousness from nothingness. Not good, not bad. No direction. No timeline. No importance. No existence before an awareness. No existence after an awareness. A consciousness, an awareness, no enlightenment, nothingness.
How did "you" get here? It doesn't matter. This is now, here, nowhere, no time. It is like you are an energy from nothingness that is suddenly occupy a space unconnected to "you". What is in this space? There is shelter and food, how nice.
Enlightenment assumes that is something to be enlightened about. How absurd.
The transcendental meaning of life.
There are people who have an elevated level of endorphins caused by a genetic mutation that live a life without suffering.
This mutation will be able to be incorporated into the human race by genetic engineering.
Genetic engineering will also allow people to live an undefined life span.
I love my daughter. She will love her child and this connection will last until human suffering has ended.
Hence a meaning to life that transcends our personal existence. A world without suffering.
This delusion works fine until you factor in the knowledge that humans are just another animal.
Are we going to genetically engineer all animals to live an indefinite lifespan without suffering?
